About Yield Guild Games (YGG)

Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) specializing in investments in non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within virtual worlds. It was founded in 2018 by Gabby Dizon, Beryl Li, and Owl of Moistness. Their focus is on establishing the groundwork for the future of gaming and gamers by leveraging the potential of web3 technology. YGG operates as a web3 gaming guild where players not only enjoy gaming but also grow their wealth while connecting with a like-minded community and collectively advancing in various games.

YGG is a network of gaming guilds with a strong emphasis on blockchain games and web3 education. The organization is dedicated to offering its members opportunities to succeed in the open Metaverse. About API3 (API3)

The API3 project was initiated in 2020. Its goal is to eliminate connectivity issues between smart contracts and APIs (application programming interfaces) by enabling the creation, management, and monetization of decentralized APIs at scale. 

Currently, smart contracts cannot directly connect to APIs, fueling the rise of oracles as intermediaries between APIs and smart contracts. Oracles increase costs, centralization, and inhibit API providers from running their nodes. API3 empowers API providers to operate their own nodes, thus providing superior data transparency and reliability directly from the data source. At the core of API3's innovation is Airnode, a lightweight and robust middleware that can be easily deployed, ensuring transparency and significantly reducing transaction fees.
