Bitvavo will support the Klaytn (KLAY) rebranding to Kaia (KAIA)

We will support the Klaytn (KLAY) token swap to Kaia (KAIA). Read this article for our timeline.

Bitvavo will stick to the following timeline for the swap:

- On the 25th of October at 15:00 CEST, buying and selling Klaytn (KLAY) will be halted.

- On or before the 1st of November, Klaytn (KLAY) will be converted to Kaia (KAIA) with a rate of 1 KLAY = KAIA.

- On or before the 1st of November, Kaia (KAIA) will be supported in trading-only mode. 

What do you have to do?

If you still have KLAY in your balance after October 25th, 15:00 CEST, no action is required. Bitvavo will automatically convert your Klaytn (KLAY) balance to Kaia (KAIA). After the swap, the market for Klaytn (KLAY) will be closed indefinitely.
