Welcome Bonus Terms & Conditions - €10k Free Trading

Organizer: Bitvavo B.V., Keizersgracht 281, 1016 ED Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Bitvavo B.V. is a crypto-asset service provider under the Markets in Crypto-Asset Regulation (MiCAR) licensed by the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets (AFM).

This document is drawn up in English. But also in other languages. In case of any discrepancy between different language versions, the English language version prevails.

1. General 

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the “Welcome Bonus - Free Trading” (the “Promotion”), a temporary promotion organised by Bitvavo B.V. (“Bitvavo”). This Promotion is organised to welcome new users to the Bitvavo platform. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our User Agreement. We only process your personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of this Promotion.

Please read more on privacy in our Privacy Policy. By participating you provide consent that we use your personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of this Promotion.

Participation in the Promotion constitutes your express acceptance of these Terms and our User Agreement. Participants must meet all eligibility criteria set out herein. Bitvavo reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with our User Agreement. All decisions on eligibility are made by Bitvavo. At the same time you can always file a complaint in line with our Complaints Procedure, in writing to [email protected], or by any other means described in Bitvavo's Help Center.

2. Promotion period

The Promotion will run from 00:00 (CET) on February 8, 2026 until 23:59 (CET) on December 31, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). The specific bonus period for each individual participant is defined in Section 3 and 4.

3. Eligibility requirements

This Promotion is open to individuals who:

• Are 18 years or older at the time of signing up;
• Are a resident of a country within the EEA;
• Are a new user who has not previously held a Bitvavo account;
• Register a new Bitvavo account using the specific referral code B61ACBA85B;
• Complete full identity verification (KYC) and bank account verification within seven (7) calendar days of the initial registration step (submission of email address);and
• Deposit a minimum of EUR 10.00 via an eligible payment method that supports bank verification.
  • Note: Deposits made via PayPal or credit card are not supported for the purpose of bank verification and do not qualify for this requirement.

Fulfilment of the eligibility requirements only means that the user is entitled to participate in the Promotion.

4. Bonus details

The "Welcome Bonus" consists of commission-free spot trading for a limited time and volume.

• Bonus period: The bonus period applies for seven (7) calendar days starting immediately from the moment the user submits their email address to create the account (the "7-Day bonus period");
• Trading volume cap: The commission waiver applies to the first EUR 10,000 (notional equivalent) of spot-trading volume (inclusive of fees);
• Fees applicable: Regular spot trading fees apply as per Bitvavo’s standard fee schedule once the participant either:
  • Exceeds the EUR 10,000 trading volume cap; or
  • Exceeds the 7-Day Bonus Period.
• Scope: The Welcome Bonus applies exclusively to spot trading fees. Other fees, including but not limited to deposit and withdrawal costs, remain applicable; and 
• Reimbursement mechanism: Trading fees are initially charged at the time of the transaction. The trading fees incurred on eligible volume during the 7-Day bonus period will be reimbursed to the user.

5. Bonus crediting

• Eligible spot trading fees incurred during the 7-Day bonus period will be reimbursed in Euros (EUR) directly to the winner's Bitvavo account;
• The reimbursement will be credited within fourteen (14) calendar days following the end of the user's specific 7-Day bonus period; and
• No alternative rewards or cash equivalents (outside of the reimbursement mechanism described) are available.

6. Exclusion & Disqualification

Bitvavo may exclude participants who:

• Tamper with the process of the Promotion;
• Submit false or misleading information;
• Violate these or any of Bitvavo’s User Agreement;
• Attempt to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., through multiple accounts or collusion).

Bitvavo may also disqualify entries for technical reasons, including invalid email addresses or social media account misuse.

Institutional clients and those providing market-making or similar services and Bitvavo employees, affiliates, and immediate family members may at no time participate in the Promotion.

Important note: This Promotion replaces any existing welcome bonus or similar promotions. It cannot be combined with other Bitvavo promotional offers.

7. Liability

Bitvavo accepts no liability for:

• Any technical failures, interruptions, or disruptions;
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation;
• Any suspension or cancellation of the Promotion due to force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances.

Bitvavo reserves the right to amend, postpone, or terminate the Promotion, including the eligibility criteria and bonus structure, at its discretion, only if reasonable and necessary. If Bitvavo exercises this right, this will not be detrimental to the participants of the Promotion. Bitvavo does not offer any promise of profit.

8. Data Protection & Taxation

• Personal data collected for the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Bitvavo’s Privacy Policy and relevant data-protection laws. 
• Personal data will only be used for purposes connected to the administration of the Promotion and bonus delivery. Users are responsible for their own tax affairs, including determining, withholding, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes related to any bonus received.
