Terms and Conditions: Bitvavo "Das kickt anders" Campaign (Germany)

Organized by: Bitvavo B.V., Keizersgracht 281, 1016 ED Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This document is available in several languages; in the event of discrepancies between different language versions, the English wording shall prevail.

1. General 

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the “Das kickt anders Campaign” (the “Promotion”), a temporary promotion organised by Bitvavo B.V. without charging any fee for participating in this Promotion (“Bitvavo”). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our User Agreement. Participation in the Promotion constitutes your express acceptance of these Terms and our User Agreement. Questions or complaints relating to this Promotion can be submitted to [email protected]. Bitvavo acts in line with the Dutch Code of Conduct on Promotional Games of Chances. Risk Warning: Digital assets are highly volatile. 2. Promotion Period 

The Promotion runs from June 8, 2026, at 00:00 (CEST). The campaign will conclude on July 19, 2026, at 23:59 (CEST) or whenever the German national team exits out of the 2026 international football championship.

3. Eligibility Requirements 

This Promotion is open to individuals who:

• Are legal residents of Germany.

• Are 18 years or older at the time of signing up.

• Have a verified Bitvavo account (identity and bank verification completed).

• Opt-in via the Campaign Hub in the Bitvavo app by clicking “Join now”.

4. Mechanics and Ballots 

After joining the campaign via the Campaign Hub in the Bitvavo app, users earn ballots based on qualifying actions completed during the Promotion Period. Earning ballots gives you a higher chance to win prizes throughout the tournament.

• Trading: Earn 1 ballot per €100 in trading volume. All filled (executed) buy and sell trades on eligible markets count.

  • All order types are accepted. See this article for more information about the available order types on Bitvavo.

  • Orders that are  placed through the Bitvavo Trading API (Application Programming Interface) are excluded.

  • All trading markets are eligible except EUR/EURC and EUR/EUROP.

• Referral: Earn 10 ballots per successful friend referral (the referred friend must complete identity and bank account verification within Promotion Period).

• Maximum Cap: A maximum of 5,000 campaign ballots can be collected per user within the Promotion Period.

5. Prizes, Notification, and Distribution 

Prizes will be awarded via impartial random draws among ballot holders. Early participants who accumulate ballots early have a chance to win across all tournament stages. The more ballots you earn, the higher your chances are of winning a prize. Each ballot you earn remains valid for all subsequent prize draws within all rounds of the tournament, provided you have not yet won. 

• German national team wins Match 1: Multiple winners will receive Official Das kickt anders Bucket Hat Merchandise (up to 500 quantities)

• German national team wins Match 2: Multiple winners will receive Official Das kickt anders Jersey Merchandise (up to 500 quantities)

• German national team wins Match 3: Multiple winners will receive Official Das kickt anders Merchandise Combo including Bucket Hat and Jersey (up to 1000 quantities)

• German national team wins Round of 32: 1x €4,000 in BTC

• German national team wins Round of 16: 1x €5,000 in BTC

• German national team wins Quarterfinal: 1x €10,000 in BTC

• German national team wins Semifinal: 1x €12,000 in BTC

• German national team wins the Final: 1x 1 BTC

Prizes are awarded in BTC based on the Bitvavo exchange rate at the time of payout. The Euro value shown is for reference only. Winners will be contacted via email from [email protected] within 3 business days from the moment the match is concluded.

6. Exclusion and Disqualification 

Bitvavo may exclude participants who tamper with the Promotion, submit false information, attempt to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., through multiple accounts or collusion) or violate the User Agreement. Institutional clients, market makers, and Bitvavo employees, employees’ family members and affiliates are not eligible.

7. Liability, Data Protection, and Taxes 

Bitvavo accepts no liability for technical failures or cancellations due to force majeure. Participant data is processed per the Privacy Policy. Participants are responsible for any personal tax implications. Bitvavo reserves the right to withhold any taxes as required by applicable local law.
