We’re supporting the AERO contract swap
Aerodrome Finance (AERO) is carrying out a contract swap. Bitvavo fully supports this swap, so you don’t need to do anything. Below you’ll find what it means and our timeline.
Aerodrome Finance is migrating to a new AERO contract. We’ll process the swap on your behalf, so your AERO balance is automatically converted to the new contract. No action is required from you.
Timeline
- 3 November 2026 at 08:00 CET: We’ll temporarily suspend AERO deposits and withdrawals. Please make sure your AERO deposits are fully processed well before this time.
- After that: We’ll carry out the contract swap.
- Once the swap is complete: We’ll reopen deposits and withdrawals for the new AERO contract. We’ll let you know via a separate announcement.
Trading in AERO remains available throughout this process. Only deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended.
