What this means for you

After the withdrawal deadline, you can no longer trade, deposit, or withdraw this asset on Bitvavo. If you are staking it, staking ends automatically before the trading deadline and your balance becomes available in your account.

If you still hold a balance after the withdrawal deadline, we convert it to EUR at the market price at the time of conversion. While we’ll do our best to secure the best available market rate, specific spreads cannot be guaranteed. The amount you receive can be lower than the value shown in your account today.

During the conversion, your balance may temporarily show as 0 and the conversion can take a few days to complete. You don’t need to do anything. We’ll send you a confirmation email once the EUR is in your account.

What you can do before the withdrawal deadline

You decide what happens to your balance. You have the following options:

1. Withdraw your balance to your Bitvavo Web3 wallet
You can also hold this asset in your Web3 wallet, a decentralized custody and trading environment.

How it works: create your Web3 wallet in the Bitvavo mobile app. Your Web3 wallet addresses are then added automatically to your Bitvavo address book, labeled “Web3 wallet” followed by the network. Start a withdrawal from your Bitvavo account and select that address. For more detailed instructions, please read:
— How to send and receive crypto with your Web3 wallet
— How to withdraw crypto from your Bitvavo account

Good to know:
— The Web3 wallet is self-custodial and is provided by Vavo Web3 Limited. It is not a regulated service, so MiCA protections may not apply.
— You control the wallet and its private key. Bitvavo doesn’t hold your key and can’t reverse transactions.
— Always select the correct network when you withdraw. Using the wrong network can mean losing your balance permanently.
— A network fee applies to the withdrawal, which is shown before you confirm.
— The delisting on Bitvavo does not change. You can’t deposit this asset back to your Bitvavo account after the deposit deadline.

2. Convert your balance to EUR or another digital asset on Bitvavo
You can do this until trading ends. The regular trading fee applies. For more details on how to convert to another digital asset, see: How to convert crypto on Bitvavo.

3. Withdraw your balance to an external wallet
You can do this until withdrawals close. The external wallet or exchange account has to be in your name, and you may be asked to verify the address under the Travel Rule. A network fee applies, which is shown before you confirm. For more details, read: How to withdraw crypto to an external wallet.

If you take no action

You don’t have to do anything. After the withdrawal deadline, we convert any remaining balance to EUR and credit it to your Bitvavo account. You’ll receive an email once this is done, and you can find the details in your transaction history.
