Terms and Conditions Existing Users Event Promo

1. General

These Terms (the “Terms”) apply to the “Existing Users Event Promo” (the “Promotion”) organised by Bitvavo B.V. (“Bitvavo”). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our User Agreement and our Privacy Policy, without reservation.

Participation in the Promotion constitutes your express acceptance of these Terms. Participants must meet all eligibility criteria. Bitvavo reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply. All decisions made by Bitvavo regarding eligibility or participation are final and not subject to dispute.

2. Duration

The Promotion will run from 00:00 (CEST) on September 3, 2025 until 23:59 (CET) on December 31, 2025. Users are only eligible to participate once during the promotion period.

3. Participation Requirements 

Eligible Participants

This Promotion is open to individuals who:

• Are 18 years or older at the time of participation;

• Must have a Bitvavo account, and have completed identity and bank account verification at least 3 months (90 days) before the time of the participation. For users residing in Germany, an account previously opened by Bitvavo powered by Hyphe is for this purpose also considered to be a Bitvavo account;

• Have executed at least one trade (no minimum amount) at the time of participation;

• Are residing in Germany or Austria;

• Agree with the promotional terms and conditions via this link;

• Must sign up via the participation form which can be found at this link;

Note: You must use the e-mail address associated with their Bitvavo account.

4. Reward & Payout

• All eligible participants will receive a reward of €10 in EUR.
• Rewards are awarded to eligible participants within 10 working days of completion of the form. 
• Rewards will be credited directly to the eligible participants' Bitvavo accounts.
• No alternative rewards or cash equivalents are available.

5. Exclusion  & Disqualification

Bitvavo may exclude participants who:

• Tamper with the promotion process;

• Submit false or misleading information;

• Violate these or any of Bitvavo’s User Agreement;

• Attempt to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., through multiple accounts or collusion).

Bitvavo may also disqualify entries for technical reasons, including invalid email addresses or social media account misuse.

Institutional clients and those providing market-making or similar services and Bitvavo employees, affiliates, and immediate family members may at no time participate in the Promotion. 

6. Liability

Bitvavo accepts no liability for:

• any technical failures, interruptions, or disruptions;

• any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation;

• any suspension or cancellation of the Promotion due to force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances.

Bitvavo reserves the right to amend, postpone, or terminate the Promotion at its discretion, without prior notice.

7. Data protection and taxes

• Participant data will be processed in accordance with the Bitvavo Privacy Policy.

• Participants are responsible for possible personal tax implications related to rewards. Consult a tax advisor if in doubt.
