These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to the "Netherlands - Greece Ticket Sweepstake" (the "Promotion"), a temporary promotion organized by Bitvavo B.V. ("Bitvavo"). This Promotion is organized to give Bitvavo users the chance to win tickets to the match between The Netherlands and Greece at the Johan Cruijff ArenA with a face value of €79 per ticket, as well as a signed shirt of the Dutch national football team. The Promotion will run from 00:00 (CEST) on 19 October 2026 until 23:59 (CET) on 1 November 2026 (the "Promotion Period").
Any participation outside this period will not be eligible.
This Promotion is open to individuals who:
Are 18 years or older at the time of signing up;
Have a verified Bitvavo account (identity and bank verification completed) before the end of the Promotion Period.
Bitvavo reserves the right to exclude participants who do not meet these criteria.
After signing up for the Promotion via the Campaign Hub in the Bitvavo app, participants earn entries based on specific actions performed during the Promotion Period:
Trading: Earn 1 entry per €100 in trading volume. All filled (executed) buy and sell trades on eligible markets count. All order types offered on the platform are accepted. Orders placed through the Bitvavo Trading API (Application Programming Interface) are excluded. All trading markets are eligible except the trading pairs EUR/EURC and EUR/EUROP.
Referrals: Earn 10 entries per successful friend referral (the referred friend must complete identity and bank account verification within the Promotion Period).
Maximum Cap: A maximum of 5,000 campaign entries can be collected per user within the Promotion Period.
Prize Description: 20x2 Category 2 tickets to the Netherlands vs Greece (Men) match on 13 November 2026 at 20:45 CET at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam with a face value of €79 per ticket.
Total Number of Winners & Prizes: 20 winners in total, each receiving 2x Category 2 tickets (40 tickets in total).
Draw Method & Date: Random draw from all eligible entries conducted on 2 November 2026.
Notification Date & Method: Winners will be notified on 2 November 2026 via email (tickets@bitvavo.com) to the address associated with their Bitvavo account.
Prize Acceptance: Winners must actively accept their prize within 48 hours of notification. Prizes that are not accepted within this period will be awarded to the next eligible participant.
Payout/Delivery Method: Tickets will be distributed digitally as a ticket code on 4 November 2026 to winners who have accepted their prize.
Additional Prize – Signed Shirt: The 3 participants with the highest number of entries at the end of the Promotion Period will each receive a shirt of the Dutch national football team (Men), signed by the players. If two or more participants have the same number of entries, the participant who reached that number of entries first will rank higher. These winners will be notified by email on 2 November 2026 and must accept their prize within 48 hours. Winning a signed shirt does not affect the chance of winning tickets.
Exclusion of claims: Fulfilment of the eligibility requirements only means that the user is entitled to participate in the Promotion. Users are not entitled to receive any prize solely by reason of fulfilling eligibility requirements.
No alternative rewards or cash equivalents are available.
Winners will be notified via email to the address associated with their Bitvavo account on 2 November 2026.
Tickets will be sent digitally as a ticket code on 4 November 2026 to winners who have accepted their prize. The signed shirts will be sent by post to the shirt winners who have accepted their prize and provided a delivery address.
Winners must confirm attendance within 48 hours of contact. Failure to respond will be treated as forfeiture and the prize will be awarded to the next eligible participant.
Bitvavo may exclude participants who:
Tamper with the process of the Promotion;
Submit false or misleading information;
Violate these Terms or Bitvavo's User Agreement;
Attempt to gain an unfair advantage (e.g. through multiple accounts or collusion).
Bitvavo may also disqualify entries for technical reasons, including invalid email addresses or social media account misuse.
Institutional clients and those providing market-making or similar services, and Bitvavo employees, affiliates, and immediate family members may not participate.
Bitvavo accepts no liability for:
Any technical failures, interruptions, or disruptions;
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation;
Any suspension or cancellation of the Promotion due to force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances.
Bitvavo reserves the right to amend, postpone, or terminate the Promotion at its discretion, only if reasonable and necessary. If Bitvavo exercises this right, this will not be detrimental to participants.
Participant data will be processed in accordance with the Bitvavo Privacy Notice and applicable data-protection law. Data will only be used for purposes connected to the administration of this Promotion and prize delivery. We only process your personal data to the extent necessary for the performance of this Promotion — please read our Privacy Notice for more information.
Participants are responsible for any personal tax implications, including any applicable reporting obligations, related to rewards received. Consult a tax advisor if in doubt.
These Terms are exclusively governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising in connection with this Promotion shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
