We will support the Frax Share (FXS) mainnet swap to Frax (FRAX). Read this article for our timeline.

Bitvavo will stick to the following timeline for the swap:

Deposits for Frax Share (FXS) are closing on Monday January 12th, 13:00 CET
Buying and selling for Frax Share (FXS) stops on Monday January 12th, 14:00 CET
Withdrawals for Frax Share (FXS) are closing on Monday January 12th, 15:00 CET
Trading for Frax (FRAX) is expected to be enabled on or around Friday January 16th, 2026

What do traders who own Frax Share need to know?

Users with Frax Share (FXS) on Bitvavo after Monday January 12th, 15:00 CET don’t have to take any action, Bitvavo will automatically convert these balances to Frax (FRAX) on Friday January 16st, 2026, or earlier. Frax share (FXS) will be converted to Frax (FRAX) at a conversion rate of 1 FXS = 1 FRAX.

After the swap, Frax Share (FXS) will no longer be available.
After halting the market, your asset balance for Frax Share (FXS) will temporarily display as 0.
Please note that it may take some time for the Frax (FRAX) balance to reflect in your account once we complete the swap of Frax Share (FXS) on your behalf.
