Amsterdam, July 2, 2026 – Bitvavo, one of Europe's leading digital asset trading platforms, today announced an enhanced integration with Fireblocks, the enterprise platform securing more than $14 trillion in digital asset transactions. By connecting Bitvavo directly to the Fireblocks Network, institutional clients can benefit from streamlined asset transfers while maintaining the security, governance, and operational controls provided by Fireblocks.

As one of Europe’s largest digital asset platforms and the world’s largest EUR spot exchange, Bitvavo continues to invest in infrastructure that supports the growing needs of institutional market participants. By joining the Fireblocks Network, Bitvavo’s institutional clients — including asset managers, market makers, and corporate treasury teams — can now transfer assets directly between their Fireblocks environment and Bitvavo, without operational workarounds or manual settlement processes.

“Institutional clients increasingly expect seamless connectivity between trading venues and custody providers,” said Ramin Kader, Director Markets & Institutions at Bitvavo. “This integration with Fireblocks removes operational friction and makes it easier for institutions to access Bitvavo’s liquidity while continuing to operate within their existing custody and governance framework.”

Fireblocks powers digital asset operations for 2,400+ institutions worldwide, including 100+ banks, and processes $70B+ in monthly settled volume across its Network. The platform is used by banks, asset managers, exchanges, and payment providers to secure, move, and manage digital assets at scale.

“Every venue that joins the Fireblocks Network makes it more useful to the institutions on it, and Bitvavo is a significant addition for the European market. Our clients have asked for this connection directly — now they can access Bitvavo’s liquidity from within their Fireblocks environment while keeping the governance and controls they rely on,” said Richard Astle, VP Head of Fireblocks Network.

The integration forms part of Bitvavo’s broader institutional strategy following the company's MiCA licence approval and continued expansion across Europe. The connection is available now to all mutual clients of Fireblocks and Bitvavo.
