What is BarnBridge?
BOND is the ERC-20 governance token of BarnBridge, a risk tokenizing protocol. BarnBridge aims to reduce the risks associated with DeFi, such as inflation risk, market price risk, and cash-flow volatility risk. By letting users select a risk profile, BarnBridge can redistribute risk via tokenized, liquid tranches. The BOND token will be the system’s governance token, empowering BOND holders to vote on updates to the platform. Combining governance mechanisms and incentivizing holders, it will serve as a means to align the different stakeholders in the system. BOND will also serve as a security and policy management medium.
